This is False as Crosby and the Oceanic never won the Memorial Cup. While saying that, they did make it to the finals of the 2005 Memorial Cup tournament but lost 4-0 to the London Knights.

Crosby was drafted #1 overall in the 2005 NHL draft. Other notable selections from this draft include Carey Price, Anze Kopitar, Paul Stastny, Kris Letang, Keith Yandle, and Bobby Ryan.

Sidney Crosby scored his first NHL goal against goaltender Hannu Toivonen of the Boston Bruins. This came on October 8th, 2005.

Sidney has a sister named Taylor who also plays hockey. She followed into their dad’s footsteps and chose to be a goalie. She has played division 1 for St. Cloud State University.

Crosby lived with Mario Lemieux from his rookie season in 2005 until 2010. After that, Crosby bought his own place in Pittsburgh that was not too far away from Mario’s.

His full name is Sidney Patrick Crosby.
