NFL Stadium Quiz: Can You Tell Them Apart?

We have put together an NFL Stadium quiz that will test your knowledge. We will give you the name of the stadium and you will have to guess what team that it belongs to. A few of them will be current names of stadiums and some of them will be older ones that teams used to play in.

NFL Stadium Trivia Questions And Answers

1) Ralph Wilson Stadium

Ralph Wilson Stadium was the home of the Buffalo Bills from 1998 to 2015. This was named after Ralph Wilson, who was the founder and owner of the Bills for many years. It was renamed to New Era Field from 2016 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, it was known as Bills Stadium. In 2021 it was announced that the stadium would be called Highmark Stadium moving forward.

2) ​Paul Brown Stadium

Paul Brown Stadium is the current stadium of the Cincinnati Bengals. Brown was known for being a co-founder and very first coach of the Cleveland Browns. He ended up founding the Bengals in 1968.

3) Raymond James Stadium

Raymond James Stadium is the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Unlike the previous two, this is not based on a former NFL player or owner. This is named after Raymond James LTD, which is a financial services company.

4) Veterans Stadium

Veterans Stadium was the home of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1971 to 2003. It was also the home of the Philadelphia Phillies of the MLB. The Eagles now play out of Lincoln Financial Field.

5) Pontiac Silverdome

The Pontiac Silverdome was the home of the Detroit Lions from 1975 to 2001. It also hosted the Detroit Pistons of the NBA from 1978 to 1988. The Pontiac Silverdome later moved to Ford Field in 2002.

6) The Kingdome

The Kingdome was the home of the Seattle Seahawks from 1976 to 1999. It also served as the home of the Seattle Mariners of the MLB and the Seattle SuperSonics of the NBA. The Seahawks currently play at Lumen Field and they moved there in 2002.

7) Three Rivers Stadium

Three Rivers Stadium was the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1970 to 2000. It also served as the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates of the MLB. The Steelers currently play at Heinz Field, which opened in 2001.

8) Kezar Stadium

Kezar Stadium was the home of the San Francisco 49ers from 1946 to 1970. The Oakland Raiders also played here for one season in 1960. The 49ers have played at Levi’s Stadium since 2014. This came after they moved from Candlestick Park, where they played from 1971 to 2013.

9) Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome

The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was the home of the Minnesota Vikings from 1982 to 2013. It also served as the home of the Minnesota Twins of the MLB and the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers for their football games. In 2016, the Vikings moved to the new U.S. Bank Stadium.

10) Cotton Bowl

The Cotton Bowl was the home of the Dallas Cowboys from 1960 to 1971. It is located in Dallas and was the home of the post-season College Football bowl game known as The Cotton Bowl for many years. The Cowboys now play out of AT&T Stadium.
